The KACE Asset Management Appliance (AMA) provides comprehensive and flexible software and hardware asset management capabilities across a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux and UNIX, as well as any device with an IP address. This ensures needed controls throughout the entire IT asset management lifecycle.
The KACE AMA helps you play a strategic role in supporting cost controls and the alignment of software contracts and purchases with actual consumption. The AMA also helps to implement mature software asset management (SAM) processes and deliver trustworthy compliance data, so that agencies are able to meet policy deadlines.

Specifications:
The KACE SMA Agent is an application that can be installed on devices to enable device management through the KACE SMA. The agent can be installed on devices that meet the following operating system requirements. For additional specifications, see the operating system vendor’s documentation. The appliance imposes no additional requirements, and supports 32-bit and 64-bit architectures where applicable.
